Sutton Stack-in Launch Animation

Collaborative discussions with Sutton’s development and marketing teams kickstarted the project. By aligning on goals, identifying the target audience and mapping out a cohesive vision, we established a clear direction that ensured the animation communicated Sutton’s keyword associations and motifs, reinforcing their brand identity.

Our careful planning of the composition ensured that the animation could be utilised in a variety of formats, including widescreen, square, and portrait. By considering the aspect ratios of different platforms early on, we enhanced the animation's adaptability and ensured that Sutton’s message reached a wider audience while maintaining polished shot framing.

Using choreographed camera movements and photorealistic rendering, we ensured key features, such as the secure engagement of trays and cases, were depicted with impact and authenticity. The motion and interaction of system components were animated to portray Stack-in as a rugged and snappy drill bit storage solution, conveying user confidence and strengthening its value proposition.

Managing hundreds of 3D assets, including drill bits, accessories, racks, and cases, was essential to creating an animation pipeline that could adapt to ambitious narrative concepts. This approach ensured the versatility of the Stack-in range was showcased effectively, conveying its ability to accommodate drill bits of diverse shapes and sizes and appeal to a broad spectrum of potential customers.

Storyboarding was integral to shaping the animation's visual and narrative flow. Each shot was crafted to highlight the system’s features and value proposition. Short, sharp captions amplified this communication to add clarity without bogging down the video’s pacing with lengthy explanations, helping viewers better understand the power and practicality of the Stack-in range.
