Melbourne’s medtech landscape remains one of the most interconnected and competitive in the world. This month, that strength became even more visible through the release of the City of Melbourne Biotech Ecosystem Map, an initiative by BioMelbourne Network in partnership with the City of Melbourne.
The map offers a clear view of the organisations driving medical, scientific and health innovation across the city – from major research institutes and regulatory bodies to the design, engineering and commercial services that bring ideas to life. The map showcases a sector defined by collaboration, precision and determination.
For nearly three decades, Cobalt has contributed design and engineering support for medical and health innovation that improves – and in many cases, saves lives globally. We’re proud to be part of this cutting-edge medtech community and featured on the map amongst many key organisations making a positive impact in the world.
This initiative is designed to make Melbourne’s dynamic medical and health technology industry easier to navigate and connect within; helping businesses identify collaborators, support complex development pathways, inform policy, and strengthen Melbourne’s identity as a pivotal hub for medtech development.
